У кулуарах на третьому поверсі Верховної Ради (Грушевського, 5) йде до завершення спорудження нового пресцентру, а також кілька майданчиків для брифінгів.

Наразі виконано більшу частину робіт. Джерела в апараті парламенту припускають, що відкриття відбудеться цього року.

Поруч із входом в ложу преси розміщуватиметься стійка, за якою під час пленарних засідань завжди будуть присутні представники пресслужби апарату парламенту. Також на третьому поверсі будуть обладнані місця для роботи журналістів і невеликий буфет.

Пресцентр розроблено в рамках Проєкту парламентської реформи, яку втілила ПРООН за підтримки ЄС, а саме розроблено дизайн, закуплено сучасне обладнання тощо. Створення пресцентру передбачено Комунікаційною стратегією ВРУ на 2017-2021 роки.

Нагадаємо, на третьому поверсі будівлі «під куполом» розміщена ложа преси, яка може вмістити максимум 60 представників ЗМІ. А акредитовано до парламенту понад 3 200 медійників.
