У будівлі Річкового вокзалу Києва вперше з 1961 року відреставрували комплекс із восьми монументально-декоративних творів, пише «Хмарочос».

 

Відновленням займалися брати Антон і Данило Гуріни ще до початку повномасштабного вторгнення Росії. Роботи тривали чотири місяці – з жовтня по січень.

 

За словами Данила, панно були в аварійному стані, а деякі елементи відходили від стін. Він пояснив, що через підвищену вологу на Річковому вокзалі панно потребують постійного догляду.

Відновлення панно профінансував Американський університет.

Річковий вокзал збудували у 1961 році за проєктом команди архітекторів, серед яких Вадим Гопкало, Вадим Ладний і Григорій Слуцький. Інтер’єр оздобили художники-монументалісти Ернест Котков, Іван Литовченко та Валерій Ламах.

У травні художники-реставратори «Софії Київської» завершили реставрацію панно Галини Севрук «Місто на семи пагорбах», яке демонтували з фоє готелю «Турист» у жовтні 2021 року.
