Російське видання The Village опублікувало колонку про світ інста-фотосесій зі зруйнованого Маріуполя та про пошуки естетики.

 
 
 
 

Користувачів соцмереж обурила підводка до самої колонки у Twitter, де вони описали статтю як «опис лукбука туристів у зруйнованому, завойованому та приєднаному місті», і що більше, знищені будівлі назвали «кльовими заброшками».

Українці негативно відреагували не тільки на це, а й на те, що The Village Україна ніяк не відреагувала на публікацію і не виразила свого осуду:

«Чи маємо, користуючись досвідом публічного осуду українського Райффазен банку за підтримку війни їхніми російськими одногрупниками, також в‘*башити хейтом франшизному The Village Україна?Адже російська «мамка» опублікувала матеріал про естетику хіпстерських фотосесій у понівечиному узькими Маріуполі».

Головний редактор російського видання після шуму у соцмережах попросив вибачення та признав помилку, назвавши це все «Ми проїбалися. Просимо вибачення у читачів та виправляємо помилку».
