У США матч регулярного чемпіонату MLS між “Філадельфія Юніон” і “Нью-Йорк Сіті” зупинили через прудкого єнота. Співробітникам стадіону у Філадельфії не одразу вдалося зловити тварину та винести її за межі поля. А єнот, між тим, встановив рекорд.

Звірятко вибігло на поле в середині першого тайму. За єнотом бігали співробітники стадіону, в деяких були в руках сміттєві баки. Глядачі тим часом скандували: “Єнот, єнот!”.

Матч перервали майже п’ять хвилин.

“Філадельфія” пізніше повідомила, що єнота після затримання передали “в добрі руки” спеціалізованої організації, яка й випустила його на волю.

MLS у соцмережі X назвала єнота Ракіньо (Raquinho) – від англ. racoon – “єнот”.

“Неофіційно єнот Ракіньо провів сьогодні ввечері на полі 161 секунду, що стало рекордним показником для єнота в історії MLS”, – пожартували в лізі
