Актор заявив, що інформація про нібито фінансування його гуманітарної поїздки в Україну Агентством США з міжнародного розвитку (USAID) є неправдивою.

Американський актор Бен Стіллер спростував заяви про те, що його візит в Україну нібито фінансував USAID.

"Це брехня з російських ЗМІ", - написав він у соцмережі Х, наголосивши, що свою гуманітарну поїздку профінансував самостійно.

"Не було фінансування від USAID і, звичайно, жодних платежів. 100% брехня", - підкреслив Стіллер.

Раніше в соцмережі Х з’явилися повідомлення про те, що USAID нібито оплачував поїздки знаменитостей до України для підвищення популярності президента Володимира Зеленського. У цих заявах стверджувалося, що Анджеліна Джолі отримала $20 мільйонів, Шон Пен - $5 мільйонів, Жан-Клод Ван Дам - $1,5 мільйона, Орландо Блум - $8 мільйонів, а Бен Стіллер - $4 мільйони.

Однак жодних підтверджень цим твердженням немає, а самі актори неодноразово наголошували, що відвідували Україну з власної ініціативи.
