По всій Шрі-Ланці вимкнули електроенергію. Міністр енергетики Кумара Джаякоді звинуватив у цьому мавпу. Про це передає BBC і AFP.

За словами міністра, мавпа «контактувала з нашим мережевим трансформатором, що спричинило дисбаланс у системі». Управління з питань електроенергії заявило, що вимкнення сталося через надзвичайну ситуацію на підстанції на південь від Коломбо (столиці Шрі-Ланки).

На відновлення електроенергії в острівній державі знадобиться декілька годин. Першочергово підключатимуть лікарні й водоочисні установки.

І міністр енергетики, і Управління з питань електроенергії кажуть, що докладають усіх зусиль, аби якнайшвидше подолати збій.

Зараз лікарні й підприємства Шрі-Ланки використовують генератори або інвертори.
