О результатах 12-часовых мирных переговоров в Минске пока не сообщается, но СМИ предполагают, что какое-то соглашение все же будет подписано. Некоторые аналитики и журналисты западных изданий полагают, что своим «пацифизмом» европейские политики дали сильные карты в руки Владимиру Путину, который не побоится при необходимости «испачкаться» в кровь, а потому на переговорах будет вести себя с позиции силы, что не сулит ничего хорошего Украине. Время публичных угроз и жестких заявлений подошло к концу – сегодня в бой вступают дипломаты. И уж если и это не сработает, то Западу придется действовать решительно – отступать некуда. Ведь скоро будет круглая дата – год с начала российской оккупации Украины, и журналисты западных изданий, наверняка, подведут итоги «успешной» политики умиротворения агрессора. В связи с этим, у Владимира Путина остается катастрофически мало времени на то, чтобы найти способ выйти из конфликта «сухим».

Чем ближе дата новых мирных переговоров в Минске, тем отчетливей просматривается ультимативный характер дипломатического предложения западных стран Путину. В некотором плане, украинская сторона, в отличие от российской, получит выигрыш независимо от результатов завтрашней встречи – если удастся заключить перемирие, то снизится количество смертей, если же договориться не получится, то Украина может рассчитывать на современное оружие и усиление санкций против враждебной России. Судя по настроению в западных СМИ – никто не ждет от новых переговоров в Минске какого-то прорыва в прекращении конфликта на Восточной Украине. По мнению прессы, нет никаких признаков скорого завершения необъявленной войны. У «ополченцев» есть практически бесконечный «запас» техники, боеприпасов, людей, а украинская армия уже укрепилась достаточно, чтобы так легко сдаться без боя, как это было в Крыму. Так что, судя по всему, новые Минские соглашения на проверку окажутся очередной фикцией Путина.

Западная пресса по-своему «оценила» приезд Госсекретаря США Джона Керри – никто не стал освещать его визит в Киев. Такова цена за затягивание США вопроса передачи Украине оружия, необходимого для сохранения собственной независимости. Американские медики поставили Владимиру Путину диагноз психологического расстройства, проще говоря, признали его аутистом, а в свете последних событий в Украине – так и до признания «агрессивным аутистом» осталось немного.
